Emmy Medders is looking positively toward the future.
More than a week after Chase Chrisley shared that he and the entrepreneur have broken up after three years together, Emmy expressed feeling optimistic about her next chapter in life.
"Welcome August," she wrote on Instagram alongside a video set to the tune of Taylor Swift's song "August." She added, "Hopeful + grateful for you!"
On July 25, Chase confirmed that nine months after getting engaged, he and Emmy had called it quits. "Everybody has been asking a lot of questions regarding Emmy and myself," Chase wrote on his Instagram Story July 25. "We both and [sic] agreed to part ways and move on with our lives separately. Thank you for respecting our privacy."
Amid the separation news, Chase and Emmy deleted images of each other on Instagram and no longer follow each other.
The pair sparked romance rumors in 2020, though Emmy admitted last December that she and Chase experienced a "major breakup" at one point in their relationship. "We didn't talk for like—I want to say it was two months," she said on Savannah Chrisley's Unlocked podcast, "but it was probably more like two weeks. It felt like two months for me."
The duo later reconciled from the hiccup, with Chase getting down on one knee in October 2022.
"You are the sunshine when it's dark, you are the rain when it's dry," the Chrisley Knows Best alum wrote on Instagram at the time. "I love you more than life itself and can't wait to live forever with you! To you my love! Thank you for taking me FOREVER!!"
Though Emmy has not yet directly spoken about the breakup, she shared a bible verse in the days leading up to Chase's confirmation.
"Be joyful in hope," she captioned an Instagram post July 21, "patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
